CLI reference

Installing geo-trax provides the geotrax command (python -m geotrax is equivalent). These pages are generated from the argparse parsers of the subcommands on every documentation build. Where a flag overrides a config key, the Config key column links to that key; the flag wins over the config file for that one run.

Command	Purpose
geotrax batch	Run the full pipeline for a video or directory tree (primary entry point)
geotrax extract	Stage 1: vehicle detection, tracking, and stabilization
geotrax georeference	Stage 2: map stabilized trajectories to real-world coordinates
geotrax aggregate	Stage 3: merge georeferenced results across drones/flights
geotrax export	Export georeferenced trajectories to GIS formats (GeoPackage, GeoJSON)
geotrax visualize	Overlay extracted tracks on the video
geotrax plot	Plot trajectories and distributions
geotrax config	Pipeline config management: show bundled configs or copy them locally for editing
